Lewis and Clark Web Activity
Use the following links to explore the journey that Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. I have provided many links below and descriptions of what you should be examining. I expect you to visit at least 2 (two) sites and report on what you have found.
1. Go West! This site allows you to have a "choose your own adventure". Write down what options you take and talk about what experiences each new choice brings you.
2. Lewis and Clark Journey Log: Using this site, view all the different legs of the journey Lewis and Clark went on. Take note of anything you find interesting (animals, people, sites, rivers, etc).
3. Discovering Lewis and Clark: Here you will find a wide variety of resources on Lewis and Clark. Use the links on the side to view people, geography, natives, issues and other concerns the journey faced. Choose around 5 different things you find noteworthy and interesting.
4.Lewis and Clark: Into the Unknown. Another "adventure" site is here for you to explore. Again, write down the options you take the talk about some of the experiences you find based upon your choices.
5.Writing with Lewis and Clark. This final website has all of the diary and journal entries from these amazing explorers. Pick 2 entries from each year (1804, 1805, 1806) and write about some of the things they mentioned. What do you think was going on with them when they wrote about some of the wonders they faced?
